Designed in Tinkercad with stacking in mind, these components are engineered to be versatile and flexible. A single power source drives each unit, yet they can be individually connected to the drive system, boasting an additional 5:1 reduction ratio. Strategically positioned mounting holes accommodate 8mm shafts, though spacers may be necessary for secure fitment. The design revolves around integrating affordable lock actuators that swiftly engage the gear with the drive, and a spring mechanism to keep them disengaged when not energized. To facilitate this process, I've included a key to join the gear with the head and a specialized tool to simplify shaft mounting. Notably, the shafts are spaced 41.5mm apart - an interesting design choice.
