I made significant improvements to this pump. Find it here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:803035 . The simple design includes a stepper driver casing that works perfectly as a drip pump for adjusting PH levels in hydroponic systems. Luckily, the pump can only manage a drip. I am using a 5v motor from 28BYJ-48 and connecting it to an arduino through the ULN2003 driver board included with the motor, purchased at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089JV2OM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The pump is designed around 1/16" I.D. x 1/8" O.D. Silicone Tubing found here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9C9H20/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. You will also need three 608 bearings, Two 6-8mm m3 bolts and nuts to attach the motor, two 28mm m3 bolts and nuts, glue for the rotor cap attachment and a microcontroller. I upgraded base V2 with a new bolt pattern to hold the driver board securely in place and changed hole locations so that wires can be routed through the bottom instead of out the side. A vented version has been added for users who prefer this feature. I modified rotor case V2 to include additional holes for better drainage and some internal relief to keep any water from accumulating. To avoid back flow, I made a slight decrease in inner diameter of the pump casing.
