Peristaltic Pump for DC Motor (500 ml/min)
thingiverse
I'm building my very own cocktail machine, but I didn't want to shell out $45 for a single pump, so I decided to print my own instead. The challenge was that I couldn't use a stepper motor due to the electronics and the Raspberry Pi involved, so I opted for a DC Motor instead. Unfortunately, it lacks sufficient power at low RPMs to spin the pump effectively, which led me to seek out a transmission and redesign the entire system from scratch. As a result, I came up with my own custom solution that's perfectly suited for a 12V DC motor - in fact, I've even found that giving my motor just 5V is more than enough. This creation delivers a flow rate of 500ml/min and works flawlessly for my machine. If you're impressed by the project, feel free to leave a small donation here: paypal.me/maximilianrabl
