Currently, I'm employing 6mm silicone aquarium tubing to inject small amounts of citric acid into a baking soda solution at regular intervals, generating CO2 in an aquarium. Multiple versions of this peristaltic pump exist, each featuring distinct squish ratios determined by the parametric model: 0.3 provides gentle squishing and effortless rotation 0.4 exerts greater pressure on the tubing, making it more challenging to turn; without a gear reduction, this version struggles to function effectively - I recommend starting with 0.3 for optimal results.
