This Periodic Table of the Elements has been crafted as flash tiles to overlay on the official 2016 IUPAC version (available from https://iupac.org/what-we-do/periodic-table-of-elements/). Another accurate version can be found at Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_education#/media/File:Periodic_table_large.svg). This interactive aid is designed to help all students of science in general and chemistry specifically.\r\n\r\nThe complete list of elements from 1 Hydrogen to 118 Oganesson are now named for the very first time. For our own project, we laser engraved a stretched version of the IUPAC Periodic Table of the Elements on a bamboo cutting board using an Epilog Helix Laser Cutter. We then 3D printed each type of elements in different colors with filaments from various leading manufacturers as follows:\r\n\r\nAlkali Metals - Red - MakerBot True Red PLA\r\nAlkaline Earth Metals - Orange - ESUN Orange PLA\r\nOther Metals - Light Green - Polymaker LulzBot Green PLA\r\nTransition Metals - Yellow - BotFeeder Macaron Yellow PLA\r\nLanthanoids - Light Purple - ColorFabb Lila PLA/PHA\r\nActinoids - Hot Pink - Materio3D Fuchsia Pink PLA\r\nMetalloids - Light Blue - FormFutura Light Blue PLA\r\nNonmetals - Blue - Printrbot Translucent Blue PLA\r\nHalogens - Brown - Proto-Pasta Aromatic Rose HTPLA\r\nNoble Gases - Dark Purple - BEEVERYCREATIVE BEESUPPLIES Violet PLA\r\n\r\nWe used both MakerBot and LulzBot 3D printers for this project.\r\n\r\nEnjoy exploring what our Universe is made of!
