Periodic Table
thingiverse
Hello, My entry into the MakerEd Project is a chemistry project. The high school level students are being divided into at least six groups to design their assigned portion of the periodic table. Each individual element is its own unique piece and students will be able to put their own design directly onto the element card. I've provided a Sketchup file with premade cards, but the teacher has the option to have groups agree on a new standard size. The students will have complete freedom to design the cards as they like and find their own way of using Sketchup, with guidance from the teacher and YouTube tutorials, of course. Once printing is done, the students will work together as a class to glue it all together using a glue chosen by the teacher. In some cases, there may be sanding required to ensure the dovetails fit properly.
With this file you will be able to print Periodic Table with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Periodic Table.
