Samsung model RFG297AARS or Like The right side knob broke off of our bottom drawer. This is an easy fix. I highly recommend using ABS plastic to achieve a tight pressure fit. To accomplish this, I designed the model slightly larger than necessary, and all you need to do is use a Dremel with a flat round wood bit to carefully grind away a small portion of the rounded arc. ABS plastic can be easily machined, but PLA is not suitable for this task. Don't worry; it only takes about 30 seconds to get that tight fit just right. I did include a location where you could attach a screw, but in hindsight, it wasn't necessary due to the excellent fit I achieved. Print with a .4 mm nozzle and use at least five shells or outer layers, as this will provide a comfortable margin for grinding. You'll only need to grind away the Samsung part completely to remove the knob. Once you see how well everything fits together, it makes perfect sense (see pictures). This is not a cheap fix; it's a sturdy, permanent solution that looks great.
