I've got a keyboard that's dishwasher-safe, but its USB cable keeps falling off due to its weight, so I came up with a clever solution. To make it work for different sizes, I use Cura to resize the print. My current design has an opening of 16.15 mm and a slot for the cable that's 3.4mm wide. The thing is hidden, so I didn't bother cleaning out the last print's white residue – it's not like anyone will see it anyway!
