Pergo French Door Spring Ball Door Latch Replacement ver 2

It's fascinating to rework my own design! Check out the original for a more detailed description of this item. I was amazed by how rough my first creation and print looked compared to what I can produce today! Version 2 got a complete makeover in SolidWorks. What an improvement over 123Design! I printed six of them in ABS at 0.2mm with 100% infill. To achieve the best results, I found that printing it upside down at 195 degrees with supports is the way to go, and it uses the least amount of filament. You can see my Simplify3D settings in the included picture. As mentioned in the original post, I've never had one of these swivel around on me, making the keyway idea unnecessary. They stay firmly in place. Additionally, with Simplify3D, I didn't need any extra tools besides tweezers to gently push away (not grind) the support material. This print is a perfect example of why Simplify3D is worth its cost.
