I call it Butter Buddy - A Handy Holder for Corn Mate I got tired of struggling to hold the butter in my hand, so I created this ingenious device. Designed specifically for the standard 4 oz (32 x 33 x 120 mm) butter sticks, it saves me from awkwardly holding the entire length, which resembled a Popsicle! Who can forget those "push-ups" from childhood? This final design is shorter, perfect for half a stick of butter. I highly recommend using ABS or PETG for durability, as it can withstand the dishwasher's 170°F (76°C) temperature. Due to its ridged surface, I strongly advise spraying all food items with silicone spray and allowing sufficient time to dry thoroughly - at least a day for complete safety. For reference, I use MG Chemicals Silicone Conformal Coating (Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/MG-Chemicals-Silicone-Conformal-Coating/dp/B008O9YGQI). A single can lasts me long enough to print about 100 decent-sized items - a great value! With a .4mm nozzle and .32mm layer height, the results are fantastic. Okay, I confess: the bottom is a bit rough, but it's only for butter - enjoy your perfectly spread Corn Mate!
