Perendev Magnet Motor with generator

I added a new drum to this motor which will power a self-contained generator. The inspiration for this came from watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAIG0-lNSEs. Coils for the generator were salvaged from a pancake motor taken out of an old ceiling fan and they work perfectly. A bridge rectifier, 12 volt regulator and a DC to AC converter are hooked up to give me regulated 110 ~ 120 VAC output. I'm still working on this project, which has been ongoing for three years while researching and gathering information from multiple sources. Along with learning to create objects in the 3D world, I've also developed skills creating designs using programs similar to Solid Works like Design Spark Mechanical http://www.rs-online.com/designspark/electronics/eng/page/mechanical. Blender was my first program but DSM amazed me when I found it - what I learned in a year in blender, took only three to four hours to learn in DSM and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent design tool.
