Pepper Mill Funnel
thingiverse
Our trusty pepper mill (William Bounds "WB-1 style") has always been a hassle to fill—it has a fairly narrow neck that's already a bit of a challenge, but things get worse with the metal crossbar that the top threads onto. Filling it usually meant spilling lots of peppercorns all over the counter.\nThis clever parametric funnel design features a notch, which allows it to sit snugly over the metal crossbar.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: \n MP Select Mini\n \n Rafts: \n Don't worry about it\n \n Supports: \n No need for them\n \n Resolution: \n High at .3\n \n Infill: \n Go all out with 100%\n \n Notes: \n I chose printer settings that gave me a total of three walls and no infill. It seems that it doesn't give an accurate preview, probably due to how I created the cutout in the base of the funnel. If you know a way to fix this, please leave a comment. As far as I can tell, the .stl file from the customizer will be correct, but double-check before printing!
