<p>This replaces a collar that holds the center shaft of a pepper mill. &nbsp;The old broken collar does not need to be completely removed. &nbsp;The outer ring can be left in place along with the nubs that are left behind. &nbsp;This model accounts for that with the recesses on the OD. &nbsp;There's also a lip that sits on the original collar. &nbsp;This design is meant for a slight interference fit so you may need to gently press it in.</p><p>Metal Shaft OD: 5.84mm</p><p>Collar ID: 6.5mm</p><p>Original Collar ID 26mm</p><p>Collar OD: 26.6mm</p><p>This is not only a replacement but also an improvement over the original design due to the improved strain reliefs and wider connection points. &nbsp;I installed this with a smooth plastic sleeve that I cut out from some hard/flexible packaging material. &nbsp;PET? or Acetate sheet? &nbsp;I felt they would wear better against the threaded metal shaft.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The included gcode was meant for a wanhao duplicator 6. &nbsp;PLA is fine.</p>
