Peplophore
myminifactory
Peplophore, a Roman replica of an ancient original from the first half of the 4th century BCE, stands proudly in Rome (?). Made with cutting-edge technology from AutoDesk, including ReMake and ReCap Pro, this stunning marble statue is on display at the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium. The young woman wears a peplos, carefully stapled on her shoulders and elegantly pleated at the level of her belly. This breathtaking work of art draws inspiration from the iconic figure of Peace (Eirènè) of Cephisodote the Elder, the father of Praxiteles.
