Peopoly MOAI LED Lights
thingiverse
This is a comprehensive set of files for upgrading your MOAI printer with interior LED lights. The package includes 4 corner lights and a central light that operates exclusively when the door is opened. The corner lights are programmed to turn on independently of the printer or door status. I installed a switch inside the printer but plan to replace the original power switch with a dual-pull switch, which will activate the lights when the printer is powered on using only one switch. The central light is controlled by an end-stop switch triggered by the opening of the door. A standard end-stop micro-switch was used, and the included cap was securely attached to the end of the arm using super glue where it rests against the door. All required components were sourced from Amazon. A power supply that doubles as a heater supply was used for this project, but it's essential to note that it has a high amperage rating of 12.5 Amps, which is excessive for this application. A much smaller 1-Amp or similar power adapter designed specifically for LED lighting is sufficient and can be easily sourced from Amazon.
