Peopoly Magneto X Electronics Enclosure Cooling Fan Housing (Enclosure Compatible)
prusaprinters
I designed this fan housing to draw air out of the electronics enclosure on the magneto. It requires two 40mm Fans (I used WINSINN DC 40mm Fan 24V 4028 fans), two M4x8 bolts, 4 to 8 M3 bolts long enough to go through your fans. The design is sized where the bolts should bite into the plastic, so no nuts should be required.NOTE: This uses holes in the side of the electronics enclosure of the printer that may not be there on every printer. They do seem to be present on the pre-order units. I have included an SVG of those hole dimensions so you can evaluate if it will fit without printing the housing. I am currently using 80% max fan speed triggered by a temp sensor inside the electronics enclosure. It seems to be sufficient at keeping the electionics cool without the power supply fans or pi fan kicking on. My environment is quite cool so your mileage may vary. This is all handled via Klipper and the BTT control board has plenty of ports so no extra hardware is needed. Optionally you could have the fans run constantly and not use a temp sensor.
