This is the revised files for my Peon Quadcopter redesign, featuring my reimagined base with walls and improved canopy configurations. I'm tired of grass clippings clogging up around my quad's components, so be sure to take care when assembling it. To start, print the bottom parts first and carefully decide which ones you'll need before printing all at once. When printing the bottom canopy pieces with side walls, you can begin the lower part in one color, pause, change filaments, then complete the walls with a contrasting hue for that eye-catching two-tone look. I employed this technique to achieve the desired dual colors. When printing, set your infill level to 100% - it may increase weight slightly but provides unparalleled structural strength. Make sure you know what you're doing; experimenting with infills at varying percentages can produce mixed results. Note: To optimize printing, ensure a secure connection between printer and work surface - excessive vibration may compromise the quality of prints. When finished, switch off power supply for at least an hour before moving on to avoid heat-related issues. Print Settings Brand Prusa Model Name: Prusa Clone Settings Rafts: Doesn't matter what rafts I used to ensure even prints. Supports: Disable them because it looks cooler. Resolution: .2 - My personal favorite, very clear. Notes If using carbon fiber rods for arm holders and attaching landing gear be aware that screws tend to slip when too tight.
