Peon 230 Race Edition
thingiverse
I really enjoy the Peon 230 designed by Tech2C! I've made a few tweaks that make it perfect for cruising and racing. The unnecessary HD Cam mount has been removed, allowing me to focus on performance. To add an extra layer of protection, I've changed the direction of the screws so they come in from the bottom of the arms, making everyday little wobbles a thing of the past. For added strength, I highly recommend using aluminum standoffs and 2mm bullets. This way, if an arm breaks, it'll simply release the motor instead of pulling out wires. To take it to the next level, I've added a default 12-degree up tilt and made the camera mount screw directly into the frame, giving it even more strength. I've also extended the frame slightly so that the rear set of standoffs can be removed without taking off the back arms. Thanks for the inspiration!
