#Battery adapter for Pentax Spotmatic that uses 377 batteries. *(also works with Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SPII, Spotmatic IIA, SP500, SP1000)* Since the original batteries for the Spotmatic (the mercury 400-PX) are no longer being made, and the hearing aid zinc batteries are expensive, its annoying to find a way to power the light meter in the Spotmatic. This print is an adapter that uses an **377 Silver Oxide** battery that can be commonly purchased. **No modifications to the camera needed!** You will only need to source a little 1.8mm spring (can be found inside lighters) to place in the hole to close the circuit (the spring will need to touch the battery itself and the closing lid of the battery compartment).
