This adapter enables the connection of an astronomy type camera with a 1.25" nosepiece to a Pentax K mount lens. The design positions the sensor plane of the camera 10mm inside the 1.25" holder, making it perfect for cameras that maintain a consistent 1.25" profile throughout, such as QHY cameras or the Altair GPCAM. If you have a camera where the sensor cannot be placed this far within the 1.25" tube, you will need to modify the design to shorten the tube. To secure the adapter firmly in place, also print the spacer ring and insert it between the main adapter and the lens mounting plate. This separate spacer ring eliminates the need for any supported areas during printing.
