Pentafinity Modular Storage System

Your life doesn’t fit into nice square boxes. You have jagged, unpredictable edges. But once people get to know you, some pretty cool patterns start to emerge! If this sounds like you, then the Pentafinity Modular Storage System is for you! (All others please refer to Zack Freedman’s awesome #Gridfinity system! https://social.thangs.com/m/60925) See here for video: https://youtu.be/W-fddEC_Qzc Yes, the Pentafinity Modular Storage System is inspired by Zack’s grid-base system but is based instead on a version of Type 6 pentagonal tiling. The pentagonal shapes will tile infinitely. Print the “Base” configurations that you need for your workspace or desktop (https://social.thangs.com/m/319885). The “Simple” versions require less material, the “Solid” versions are heavier and have inserts for magnets (6mm or 1/4 inch diameter, 2mm, 3mm or 1/8 inch thickness.) Print the “Containers” that you will need to store your stuff (https://social.thangs.com/m/319886). “Single” containers fill one pentagonal unit, the two “Quad” containers fill different configurations of four pentagonal units. Containers come in five different heights from 20mm to 100mm and are stackable. Magnets can be added to the bottom of the containers to attach to the “Solid” bases. Please message me for design parameters if you would like to create remixes.
