Penta-Pentomino - Tray-packing puzzle by Stewart Coffin (STC #176A)
thingiverse
Fit all five pieces into the square opening of this challenging puzzle created by Stewart Coffin. This tray-packing puzzle is one of a series, and it may seem impossible at first, but don't worry if you're not getting the right fit - just keep trying. The model or your printer isn't to blame; it's just that the pieces need to be arranged in a specific way. You'll find three STL files: the five puzzle pieces, the tray itself, and an optional lid. The tray has extra space for one of the pieces when you're not solving the puzzle, making storage easy. The model was designed using PuzzleCAD, and I've included the .scad file if you want to remix it or make changes. You'll need PuzzleCAD version 1.2 or later to open this file.
