Penrose tiling on fabric
thingiverse
Penrose tiling - P3 type, featuring two distinct "rhombs." Printed on lightweight tulle fabric using the technique outlined in Uncle Jessy's informative video, adapted for Cura following expert tips in this Reddit discussion. A short video of the completed print is available here. The design was created in OpenSCAD and exported to STL, then imported into Cura for precise slicing. It was printed on a Monoprice Select Mini with high infill percentage. New Version Available: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2820893 (Update 03/04/18: The OpenSCAD file has been thoroughly cleaned up.) (Update 03/05/18: A better link to Uncle Jessy's demo is now available.) (Update 03/05/18: A direct link to the author's video on Imgur has also been provided.) (Update 03/09/19: A still photo and a link to the new version have been included.)
