Penrose P2 tiles
youmagine
Only two Penrose tiles are needed for creating a non-periodic tiling. The tiles have been designed in Freecad, and they are parametric. Simply open the Parameters spreadsheet (in freecad), adjust the parameters as needed, generate the STL file, and print them. Examples of tiles with 30mm and 40mm sides have already been generated and ready for printing and testing. The source code (Freecad) is available at this github repository: https://github.com/Obijuan/3D-parts/tree/master/2016-09-07-P2-Penrose-Tilling Additional information can be found in the github wiki, which includes documentation in English: https://github.com/Obijuan/3D-parts/wiki/Penrose-P2-Tessellation-Pieces Have fun covering the plane with these tiles!
With this file you will be able to print Penrose P2 tiles with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Penrose P2 tiles.
