Artek's Pendant Lamps, designed by Alvar Aalto, are distinctively shaped lighting fixtures that provide exceptional warm-toned illumination. The A110, nicknamed "Hand Grenade," features a lacquered steel shade and an inner ring that creates a corona effect while reducing glare. It was designed for the Finnish Engineers' Association building. The A333, known as "Turnip" for its organic shape, combines elegance and simplicity, with light emerging through circular recesses near its top. It was created for the National Pensions Institute building in Helsinki. The A338, or "Bilberry," is a small round pendant light perfect for highlighting interior features such as paintings or surfaces, and was originally designed to accent art in Louis Carré's Parisian home.
