Even the tiniest of hands struggle removing or installing those pesky retaining rings that secure pendant lamp shades to the fixture. This tool solves that problem, making it almost fun for the whole family to tackle! It's pretty straightforward, all you have to remember is righty-tighty, lefty-loosie. There's a hole in the handle end for a hex key or something similar should you need more leverage. The internal diameter of the business end of the tool is 45.5mm. The entire tool stands at 185mm tall, but you can scale it down quite a bit if required to fit on your printer as the slots that grip the ring are much taller than they need to be in order to work. Two versions are included: one with a knurled handle and one without. I'd suggest the knurled version for better grip, but that does take more time and requires more retractions during the print. Just remember to let the light fixture cool before using this tool if you still use bulbs that get hot!
