<p>I got tired of searching for pencils in multiple boxes and decided to consolidate them into one box, making sure I can pull out a row for easy access to the middle pencils.</p> <p>The design is made for soft artists' pencils, 7mm Diameter and 200mm long, with a bit of extra space around them. In total it has space for 102 pencils.</p> <p>If you're planning on using this for other pens/pencils, I suggest printing the 7 long row to test first.</p> <p>For printing, make sure to print 2 each of the rows, except the middle 12 pencil row.</p> <p>I have included a cover version without the text, for those who prefer it, or want to mess with dimensions for it.</p> <p>I've also added a shorter blank cover, which is suitable for Stabilo 68 pens</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>I3 MK3S</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.3mm layer height</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>I printed this without brims, but you may need brims for the rows if print adhesion is low on your printer. </p> My print finish isn't great, because unfortunately the random seam position is more noticeable on the silver than the galaxy black filament. I would advise to slice everything with the seam aligned as a result. <p>The cover was printed upside down, with the top on the print plate. Bridging of the text gap was rotated so it is vertical to the text to cover shortest gap.</p> <p>You can also play with bottom layer infill for the cover, to make it slightly less boring.</p> <p>The text at the top was simply glued into place, as I don't have a multi material extruder.</p> </div></p></p> Category: Art Tools
