Pencil Pots
thingiverse
Some time ago I published a post on my blog discussing 3D Printing design projects designed specifically for students in schools. Concerned that many projects undertaken are not really pushing the limits and challenging students adequately, and given their time constraints often stick to simple flat objects like keychains. Effective projects need to encourage students to design products that actually fit the purpose intended, meeting the correct dimensional specifications. Please refer to my original post here https://3dprintineducation.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/fit-for-purpose-3dprinting-and-cad-projects-for-dt-students/. As a follow-up, I decided to create two simple pencil pots. Since then, several readers have asked me to publish the files for these designs, and so here they are. However, maybe it would be more practical to design something tailored specifically to your own unique requirements
With this file you will be able to print Pencil Pots with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Pencil Pots.
