Pencil Launcher

Pencil BlasterSafety first: only soft-eraser pencils go in. The sharp point goes into the launcher's nose.Like a rocket launcher, two stretchy bands deliver a big blast. The Pencil Blaster has three parts: the tube, a moving cylinder that slides back and forth, and a fixed part attached to the tube with three small screws. Insert the pencil, point forward, into the fixed part's hole, stretching those rubber bands as you push until the lock clicks at the end of the tube. If the tube isn't flat, some sanding will take care of that issue. Find a safe spot for impact, point the blaster in that direction, and press both lock pins inward to launch: You're cleared for blast-off!Tip: Print the moving part with 100% infill for strong, flexible springs, while the other parts can get by with 20% infill. It's easy to adjust range or pencil length - just trim a piece off the tube.
