Pencil Holder with 4 USB holder and 2 Paper Holder

Eric Chen 10/9/20 Project Statement on Pencil Holder with 4 USB Holders ( #studentdesignchallenge) When creating this design, I wanted to solve a problem that I keep having when it comes to online learning. The problem is, during the middle of class I would need to constantly get up to get either my USBs, refine my lead pencil, or grab papers to take notes or make sketches of projects which would often distract me from my learning. This could also potentially make me miss out on valuable topics needed to understand what I need for the class. A pencil holder would help, but it would not solve the constant distraction of me getting up in the middle of class, so the design I came up with would help remove my distraction by combining them with a pencil holder. By adding 2 USB holders on each side of the pencil holder I should have more than enough USBs to download or load up a sketch of my projects for each of my classes and with one paper holder on each side, it would help me store up some papers I may need for my project designs. One issue I had when coming up with this project was to figure out how much I can put into one pencil holder. For example, if I had the chance to redesign my project I would want to add a drawer so I can put sticky notes or some prototype 3D models that might help me with other projects I have for other classes. I would also like to add a paper clips/ staples holder so I can be even more prepared for my classes and to organize my notes. With 3D printing, it could help strengthen my design by letting me physically see what flaws I may have with this design so that I can rework it in the future.
