Pencil Holder Name Plaque

Simple personalized plaques with multiple holes on top for pencils or pens are available. Open the file in OPENSCAD to modify the name, font, and font size. A girl's version has a different font than a boy's version. Scale the plaque up or down using a slicer of your choice to achieve the desired size. This example was scaled up by 180% and printed with 0.3mm layers on a Da Vinci 1.0A printer. Printing the plaques upside down, with letters facing upwards, produces better quality lettering, but some irregular strings may appear within the holes, which are barely noticeable. Printing the plaques right-side up, with holes facing upwards, results in cleaner holes, but may cause difficulties with overhanging letters. Some of the pictures show a larger center square, which can be easily modified in OPENSCAD. Baseball-themed plaques were inspired by this design found at Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:431261. Please share your creations!
