Pencil Grip

The pencil grip I designed was made as an improvement to the pencil its self. Although other grips already exist, this one has both a checkered grip and ergonomic curves to assist the user. The reason one may need a pencil grip is the fact that after writing for hours. To execute this, the design will be 3D printed with a rubbery material and is simplistic enough so that details will not be lost in printing. Two main things I learned from this project are to improvise when I can’t get the exact results I want and to be flexible, because even the simplest of projects may not go according to plan.
