The person has got their pencil right by holding it. A good grip will keep the pencil stable so the fingers don't slip. Pressing too hard with the finger can also make the hand feel strained and cause a slight cramp or two. This could be due to over tightening but can sometimes result from not relaxing properly between writing sessions. This model seems steady with each joint firmly clasped together and pressed firmly at the center of its length by using both hands - holding it quite snug. A firm hold like this keeps things nice and steady making no slips whatsoever! This makes sense, of course. The more steady you keep your pencil held down flat on the page then better will be able output overall without much disturbance.
