Print your own pencil in dual color! The design was created using Fusion 360, based on the iconic Bic Cristal pencil and utilizing its filling and ballpoint mechanism. I printed the pencil with Woodfill Colorfabb filament for the grip and Corkfill Colorfabb filament for the other parts. The pencil's grip was not sanded to maintain a slightly rough texture, giving it a wood-like appearance. You can construct the pen with your initials on the end (End Part A...Z) or use a blank version (End Part Blank). Store the pencil using a cap, place it on a desk stand, or use the box for storage. Required materials: * 1 Bic Cristal pencil for filling * Two types of filament * Super glue to join parts * Optional: 4 mm drill Assembly instructions (see pictures): * Remove the filling from the Bic Cristal pencil * Print parts using a brim to secure smaller components, and settings: 190°C nozzle temperature, 60°C bed temperature, 60 mm/s. * Depending on your printer, you might need to carefully drill the tip (BasePart2) with a 4 mm hand drill so the pencil filling fits. * Glue base parts into the grip * Glue the "end part" to BasePart1 (only the blank part has a small notch for secure attachment) * Insert pencil filling * Start writing The box was printed using ColorFabb Woodfill, identical to my DrWho screwdriver project's box. Two versions are available: 2 mm and 3 mm. I used the 2 mm version with a paperclip for hinges. Alternatively, use the 3 mm version with a piece of filament for hinge creation. Have fun with 3D printing!
