I created this pen press out of necessity, having grown tired of using the jaws of my Workmate to craft pens. I decided to design something that would simplify the process. To create the press, I purchased a toggle clamp from eBay for under £6 ("Pull Push Action Toggle Clamp 500 lbs/227kg Holding Capacity 32mm Stroke"). Next, I fabricated a handle and constructed the base using readily available wood. A 10mm bamboo knitting needle, acquired at a local dollar shop, was also incorporated into the design. The STL files are provided as a complete set and separate pieces, allowing for flexibility in assembly. I printed the components with dense settings, incorporating numerous walls and infill to ensure stability. PLA+ filament was used, and so far, it has withstood testing without sustaining damage.
