Pen Plotter attachment for CNC chucks
thingiverse
Transform your CNC mill into a pen plotter using this attachment; simply insert a pen through its stalk which can be gripped by the chuck like a drill bit or endmill. Two versions are provided: one with a plastic stalk and another with a hole for a machine screw. For printing, use a 20% infill rate and a feed rate of 30, ensuring other settings remain unchanged. After printing, insert your pen (it should fit tightly), re-zero the Z-axis, and commence drawing. The design allows clearance for a Dremel flex attachment and pen; however, if using a regular Dremel, you may need to lengthen the piece in Sketchup or find a shorter pen. Note that this part is still in progress as it has not been tested yet, with updates and additional features expected in the future.
