Pen Magnet
thingiverse
We always have a pad of paper dangling on the fridge, and way back when, I crafted a magnet to fit snugly on a pen using two tiny magnets, an elastic band, and a lot of melted hot glue. Now that I've mastered TPC printing (which isn't entirely true, but I managed three non-disastrous prints), I revamped the elastic-band design. I came up with three designs/iterations, all for a 10mm-diameter pen. One was tailored to a 5x5x5mm magnet, the next used two of those tiny cube magnets, and the final one accommodated an 8mm x 10mm high round magnet. My product review is that the design with one cube magnet worked out well but turned out too weak. The version with the cylindrical magnet was somewhat oversized and excessively powerful. However, the one employing two cube magnets struck a perfect balance. Print Settings Rafts: Unnecessary Supports: Never Needed
