pen holder / plotter
thingiverse
Introducing a spring-loaded pen holder that attaches directly to your extruder base. This design allows you to experiment with plotting without removing the extruder, though it's not perfect. The pen is held in place by a clamp, and the entire assembly is secured to the extruder base. To start plotting, position the pen on the printing plate and adjust the Z end-stop accordingly. For software guidance, refer to the comments below. To build this holder, print the necessary parts, remove any supporting struts, and refine for a smooth fit of the two halves. Incorporate an elastic band for spring action, attach a nut and bolt for the pen clamp, and use a self-tapping screw to fix the holder to the extruder base.
