This project demonstrates that even with basic 3D modeling skills, one can design and create assistive devices like a pen holder for individuals with limited grip strength. Using free CAD software, the pen holder was designed in trueSpace and printed on an Up3D! printer within just 12 minutes. The base and top components are easily glued together and attached to a flat side of a Bic pen for comfortable use.
