Pen Holder
thingiverse
To create a pen holder with an organic touch, I designed a model that Thingiverse featured on August 15, 2013. Despite its large STL file size of 30MB and long print time of over 12 hours, printing from an SD card is recommended for ease. For those who faced slicing issues, there's a reduced resolution version available as well. The design includes some overhangs and bridging that should print fine without support. PLA filament from XYD was used for the print, at 220 degrees on a Rep2 printer with Makerware 2.0 "MiracleGrue" slicer, 0.2mm layers, Sailfish 7.3, and 100mm/s speed, increasing to 150% after the initial layers. However, from 60% onwards, the print started offsetting by 1-2mm, a mystery that multiple users have reported.
With this file you will be able to print Pen Holder with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Pen Holder.
