Pen blank holder for bench drill vice jaws
thingiverse
I crafted this device to keep pen blanks upright during drilling. It fits snugly into the jaws and stays centered thanks to a central column that glides beneath the vice jaw. The Fusion 360 file is included so you can modify it to suit your needs. Two prints were made, one for each side as shown in the photo. The crossbeam measures 70mm wide but could be trimmed down slightly. Its depth is 23mm, allowing a lip to rest atop the jaw itself. Adjust this according to your vice jaw's depth. The tail is 21.5mm wide and must fit within a 22.5mm gap in my vice jaw. You may need to adjust it accordingly. This print was made on an Anycubic Mega S with a layer height of .03, 50% infill (though you might prefer higher infill for added strength). A logo is visible in the photo but not in the downloadable STL file.
