Peloton Towel Hook

Peloton Towel Hook

The Peloton lacks a built-in towel hook. Hanging my towel on the handlebars was inconvenient because it obstructed my hand movements. I attempted to hang it on the adjustable bolt above the water bottle holder, but accessing it proved difficult and made grabbing a water bottle challenging. To resolve this issue, I created this towel hook. It allows for effortless towel placement, secure retention, and easy retrieval. The design's simplicity enables quick attachment and removal of the towel. However, attaching it to the display presented difficulties due to its sleek design with no visible ledges or mounting points. Therefore, I capitalized on the headphone jack on the right side. Since I use Bluetooth headphones, I repurposed an old cable by cutting off a section, inserting it into the port, and incorporating a hole for hanging on the shortened jack. Additionally, I incorporated a flat section that extends over the display's border and secured it using 3M VHB two-sided tape to prevent movement when attaching or detaching the towel.
