Pelonis Portable Air Conditioner Vent Cover
thingiverse
This is a vent cover for the Pelonis PAP10R1BWT portable air conditioner. It likely works with some of the other models in the same series, as I imagine they use the same window vent, however I can't confirm it. If you try it and it work, please comment. I created this because I noticed a wide open hose hole in my window, which just looked precarious. Bugs and rain could easily enter, causing me to remove the window mount when it started to rain. I called Pelonis support, and they said that they do not carry a part that covers the hole. I did some measurements, and after a ton of failed attempts, got it to finally fit. It is friction fit, so it does not require any screws or glue or anything. It is a really tight fit, but feel free to sand it down a bit if you need a little wiggle room. Installing the vent should likely be done by removing the mount from the window insert and the hose, as you might need to wiggle things around and use a little force from otherwise unavailable angles. The vent can be inserted directly through the window insert as it is inside of the hose mount. I recommend printing this with PETG or ABS, as this is a hot air exhaust for the air conditioner, and PLA might get too soft with actual use. I used supports for this, with a brim. I printed this on a Bambu P1P, but it should fit slightly smaller printers. If anyone wants to improve this, you are welcome to. Perhaps I will print your revision, as mine was just designed and printed in a hurry.
