Pellet Gun Bayonet
thingiverse
Some day the squirrels are going to form a legion and exact their revenge. On that day, you wouldn't want to find yourself trapped in the forest with an empty tin of pellets and no way to defend yourself. That's where this handy piece of equipment comes into play. A bayonet for your pellet gun - don't let those tree rats catch you off guard without a fight! This bayonet fits any air gun with a 7/16" (11mm) outer diameter barrel. I've tested it on two models: the Crosman 2240 and the Benjamin Discovery. I designed the hole slightly undersized so you can sand, dremel, or shave to your desired tightness. With mine, I simply stuck the blade of a knife straight in and twisted it a couple turns until it was a snug slip fit. When I printed mine, it developed a small imperfection near the tip - that's why I'm considering creating a modified version with a more rugged design. I've added a second design to this project - now featuring a serrated blade! **Print Settings** * **Printer:** Monoprice Maker Select * **Rafts:** No rafts needed * **Supports:** None required * **Resolution:** .25 mm * **Infill:** 25% * **Notes:** You can use whatever shells and infill you prefer - I used three shells from a previous print by mistake. This project should print quickly, with no need for support. However, you might need to add a raft if your first layer doesn't stick well to the print bed. My first piece popped off the bed, but my second one stuck in place without any rafts.
