Pella Screen Door Lock Strike

I recently replaced my broken patio screen door latch after months of use at my new home. To get the job done over the weekend, I designed a replacement model from scratch. Although I only had the broken base to work with, it still managed to get the job done for me. The Pella door was where this latch was originally installed, but I'm confident that it will also work on doors from other manufacturers. Based on my findings after installing and printing the one I designed, I made a few adjustments. I lengthened the latch by 0.2 mm to ensure a better fit, and reduced the screw holes from #8 to #6 for added security. Despite making these changes, I didn't reprint or replace the existing latch since it was still working fine. If anyone encounters any issues with this design, please don't hesitate to let me know so that I can make the necessary adjustments. Even though printing the part on its side might yield better results, I recommend printing it upright with supports instead. This way, the latch is reinforced by having solid layers throughout its cross-section, making it stronger and more durable.
