Pelican Air 1535 Wheel
prusaprinters
The rubber on Pelican case wheels always go bad eventually and my time finally came, so I sat down in Fusion 360 and whipped up this design.Since I no longer had the full original wheels to measure outside diameter from I simply went for something that would fit and work. They're designed to use the bearings from original wheels so you can swap them over to these. If the bearings are a bit too snug, you can heat them with a lighter before pressing.I found using a vise clamp pretty good for pressing the bearings into place. So far the wheels seem to work fine, I can foresee no problems on smooth surfaces like tile and concrete. We'll see what happens if it gets used on asphalt or other rough surfaces.I don't know if this design will fit other cases but I've included the Fusion 360 file and the PrusaSlicer .3mf for your convenience.Should also work with 1510 and 1560 cases.
