Pegboard Trays

<p>I needed a set of pegboard trays to use on 3/16" perforated hardboard as well as inside my Husky Heavy Duty garage cabinets. I designed a set of trays that work in the steel cabinets or on perforated hardboard.</p> <p>These trays are printed in two parts, pegs and trays, and assembled with super glue:</p> <ul> <li>2, 3, 4, and 5 peg strip</li> <li>5 tray sizes<ul> <li>3" x 2" x 2" (75 x 50 x 50mm)</li> <li>3" x 3" x 2" (75 x 75 x 50mm)</li> <li>6" x 2" x 2" (150 x 50 x 50mm)</li> <li>6" x 3" x 2" (150 x 50 x 50mm)</li> <li>8" x 4" x 2" (200 x 100 x 50mm)</li> </ul> </li> <li>bushings for mounting pegboard on the wall with a 3/16" lag screw</li> </ul> <p>I designed the trays in Fusion 360 using parametric modeling. Trays are sized in 25mm increments. On the pegboard, two 75mm long trays fit nicely side-by-side under a 150mm tray.</p> <p>Print a peg strip one size smaller than the tray. For example, for a 75mm tray (3x25mm) use a 2 peg mount (2x25.4) and center it on the upper edge of the long flat side of the tray. For longer trays use a combination of peg strips to get the desired number of pegs. For example, for a 200mm tray (8 x 25mm) I needed 7 pegs, so I used a 5 peg and a 2 peg strip together.</p> </p></div></p></p> Category: Tool Holders & Boxes
