Pegboard to French Cleat Adapter
thingiverse
A French Cleat is a method of securing tools by pairing two 45-degree angles together, offering a more effective alternative to Pegboards for many users due to its ability to hold significantly more weight. With numerous versatile tool holder designs available on Thingiverse, I created a solution that enables the easy integration of these designs with my French Cleats. This combination allows users to take full advantage of the strength and capacity offered by the French Cleat design, which is ideal for tools that can weigh quite a bit. To enhance stability, I included moveable pegs on the back side of each unit, providing additional support as needed. For this project, I utilized the Pegboard design found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2145069 to create the base structure. Additional units can be easily connected using the design available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2145096. The Safety Goggle Adapter and Tool Loop pictured were created using the designs found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1741176 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:272552, respectively.
