Pegboard Spool Holder
thingiverse
I had used the trusty TUSH to hold my spools for quite some time, but unfortunately it started to fall apart. I also had an empty section on my workbench's pegboard that needed to be utilized. There are several options available for mounting a spool of filament on a pegboard, but I couldn't find one that met my requirements. Specifically, I was looking for one that utilizes a metal part to attach to the pegboard. This spool holder offers numerous advantages: - It's made from affordable parts - Fast printing times make it a convenient option - The design is fairly sturdy and can withstand regular use - Low friction on filament spools ensures smooth and efficient operation I designed this part to work in conjunction with a hook I discovered at the local hardware store, the Crawford #18580. You can find it on Amazon. Additionally, you will need a section of 1-inch PVC pipe. I purchased one from the store and cut it to size using a hacksaw, then sanded the ends to smooth them out. You'll need to print two of these spool holders.
