Pegboard Jig

Pegboard Jig

I designed this simple jig to accurately position pegboard holes on a blank sheet of Hardboard. From center to center, each hole is spaced 19 mm apart. Since my pegboard holes have a diameter of 4 mm, I made the 4 jig pins 3.7 mm in diameter. It's essential to note that pegboard sheets vary greatly in size depending on their manufacturer, so be sure to measure your own gap distances before investing time and filament. To optimize print efficiency, I used an infill density of 50%. However, for future projects, a lower infill rate of 20% would be more than sufficient. Begin by marking the first row of holes at the top of the Hardboard sheet. Using the jig, drill out each hole and then mark its location for drilling. This process may seem tedious, but it will ultimately save you money in the long run.
